Danny Boy

This song is about Danny Boy who has been called upon
by the army to fight for his country:

"The pipes are calling
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me"

Parents can only pray that their son shall return home safely,
but the war is long and never ending.
But their hope never subsides.

I'm soooooo immersed in the lyrics:
"I'll be hereee...in the sushine and in shadow"

The Pray-er's Trilogy, Part 1: Orientation

(Evolution),
(Survival for the Fittest).

憑著像安裝了 twin turbo 的飛快雙腿;

In spite of 肉體內痛如千刀萬剮!

從 Survival for the Fittest 的角度,

To Pray-er, with Love:

The Prayer's Prelude: Silence

"Privacy is our attempt to insulate the self from interference;
Solitude leaves the company of others for a time in order to
listen to them more deeply, be aware of them, serve them."

-- by Eugene Peterson, "Earth and Altar: The Community of Prayer
in a Self-Bound Society".

他邀請我去 take a break,

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone;
my hope comes from Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.

(Psalm 62: 5-6)
